Starting and finishing in Thorne the route shares the first 43 miles with the long route, the medium route makes for a great ride out in glorious countryside. Following the Trent Bank as far as Owston Ferry and then doubles back through Haxey and along the ‘levels’ where the road undulates across what was originally fenland before winding its way back to Thorne.
