Blue Ride Report Wednesday 24th July
6 eager cyclists, namely Martin, Kevin, Linda, Michelle, Karen, Trisha and myself met on a warm sunny day, very rare this year!
We had a good 18.5 mile ride to Laughton via many country lanes and quiet roads and eventually arrived at the Ledger Lakes cafe all in good form and It was great to sit outside in warm sunshine. I self isolated on a table on my own due to the onset of a summer cold affecting me, but it did not stop the banter between the group!
After excellent refreshments enjoyed by all we set off back on our 12.25 mile journey back to Tickhill. On reaching Oldcotes Michelle made a detour to Manor Farm for another coffee fix, and the rest of the group headed back home on the A 60 instead of cycling on Styrrup Lane once again!
A very enjoyable ride with good company once again.
