As usual, the day after the TT has been spent getting the results onto the CTT website. Now that that’s all taken care of, it’s time for me to extend a massive thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s event a great success.
Timekeeping: A huge shoutout to Lawrence Buckley for his stellar job working alongside the finish line timekeeper.
HQ Team: Diane Jordan, Martin Crapper, Jean, Carol Sales, and Michael Sales—all of whom worked tirelessly to check riders in and out, and to manage the post-event refreshments.
Magic Roundabout Team: Diana Simpson, Christina Cooper, Gary Durham, and Jon Brough kept riders safe at the busy roundabout with enthusiastic flag waving. Special mention goes to the cowbells, which added a fantastic atmosphere that many riders commented on.
Start Line Team: Peter Down, Dean O’Sullivan, and Graham Fletcher were always busy, marshaling riders to the start line, holding them up, replacing chains, and even trimming shrubs.
The Riders: Daniel Brewster, Paul Ferguson, Craig Magee, Jody Williams, Karen Cleminson, and Jenny Down—what a brilliant turnout! You all looked fantastic and did our club proud. Special recognition to the ladies for taking 1st and 2nd places in the Female Road Bike category!
